• Modern, new Client interface
  The David InfoCenter presents itself in a complete new design for all workstations running Microsoft Windows XP. Smooth 3D objects, surfaces and animations for a modern and particularly tidy optic make it even easier to deal with this unique client.
• Tidied Structures
  In order to orient yourself even easier in the David InfoCenter and work more efficiently, window fields have been confined crystally clear from each other and buttons were consolidated in thematic groups.
• Reduced Amount Of Buttons
  Buttons and options, which you need every day, have been removed from the button bar and respectively integrated into menus. So you can concentrate on the essential and still enjoy the full scope of service from David.
• Access At Lightning Speed
  Your new messages are already at hand within a split second. Thanks to the new intelligent notification all unread messages are at your disposal with just one single mouse click anytime.
• Individual Window Display
  You can pull individual windows simply per drag and drop from the David InfoCenter and depositing them on the Desktop. That way you are always having e.g. your in box perfectly at a glance. Even if you want to work in totally different archives.
• Real Active Desktop
  External applications such as e.g. graphic programs can now be opened directly from the David InfoCenter. So you do not need to first access the Windows start menu or the Active Desktop. This way your David InfoCenter becomes a real information center.

Database

• Automatic Data Filing
  Filing of your data and information if desired, can now be automatically done by David. You just need to define the detail level David should sort your individual filing. The rest is done by David itself.
• Powerful Search Function
  Using the revised index search you will find all information within a split second. It does not make any difference, whether you are searching for an archive or for a particular entry.
• Comfortable Database Connection
  Thanks to the new redirector if desired, you can source out the address management to an external database like SQL-, Excel-, Access- or as well ODBC sources. The usage of saved addresses takes place further on in the David InfoCenter.
• Grouping Within Seconds
  Messages belonging together from the in and out box can now be grouped by pushing a button. So now in the twinkling of an eye all messages concerning a specific subject are at hand and issues can be verified even faster and more efficient.

Messaging

• Comfortable Quoting
  At the touch of a button you can send the desired text passage as quote. So it will directly be inserted into a new eMail without having to copy it manually and respectively marked as quote. So you can send interesting passages to your colleagues within a split second, which you e.g. took from a newsletter.
• Immediate Tracking Information
  The current status of your sent messages will now be comfortably displayed in your out box. So you can see at a glance, what the recipient lastly did with your message. Naturally the whole tracking process can also be recognized from the tracking list.
• Direct eMail Sending From Office Applications
  Messages, which have e.g. been created in MS Word with HMTL formatting, can now be transferred to the David InfoCenter with a single click. Then the document will automatically be displayed as a new message in HTML format and can directky be sent. That way you will be even more flexible concerning the media eMail.
• Poste Restante Mails
  Now you can send large attachments without any problems, if the in box of the recipient is space limited. Because if desired, you can send a link to the recipient, where he or she can directly download the file. This way the provider and the concerning in box will cleverly be avoided.

Safety

• Unique Camera Observation
  Now you can even integrate observation cameras into David. The records are available day and night in the David InfoCenter and there you can view, edit or sent them. Consequently David does not only secure your system, but as well optimally protects your buildings and personal.
• Real All Around Protection
  The brand new, intelligent AlertState-Signaling protects your system as well against computer viruses, where there have not yet been any virus signatures available for and so the Doorkeeper is not able to recognize them yet. This way a perfect virus protection is actually ever guaranteed.
• Safe Encoding
  Thanks to the integration of PGP 8 if desired, you can automatically have your mails encoded before sending. This way the contents can be protected from hackers and only the recipient can view the message.

Organization

• Powerful Project Planning
  The brand new project planning allows comfortable planning, respectively administration of extensive tasks and projects. This is done user based as well as group based.
• Reliable Reminders
  The new reminder function if desired, automatically sends you a short reminder concerning due tasks. So not any tasks will get lost and in future, all set appointments will automatically be kept.
• Automatic Sorting
  David will now automatically sort your task archive. So all tasks done with the status "Complete" will be automatically moved to the end of the task list. All due tasks can be found top of the list. So you will always have the ideal overview about things to come. And this without needing to sort them manually.
• Detailed Planning
  Thanks to numerous detail improvements you can now use the task planning even more efficiently with David. So now e.g. you can set the due dates and start times even more precisely. Now you can also indicate the used resources directly into the task. So your task planning is even more flexible and complete.

Appointment Planning

• Extended View
  Now David additionally offers the calender view "Work Week". This allows you a fast and detailed overview about all appointments, which come up during the work week (Mon-Fri). So your appointment planning will be even more clear and a lot easier.
• Aimed Identification
  You can now mark appointments if desired with individual colors. So every user directly recognizes, whether it e.g. concerns an internal or external appointment, a meeting or a customer meeting, or possibly a private appointment.
• Comfortable Moving
  Created appointments can now be moved effortlessly with drag and drop. E.g. from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm, from Monday to Wednesday or from 31st May to the 17th August. This way you can also react on short term changes of dates with just a minimum effort.
• Comfortable Search For A Certain Date
  Now you can access a certain date from your calender with just one single mouse click. So you spare troublesome "browsing" in your calender, if you want to enter an appointment for example.
• Improved Recurrence
  Particular appointments from a recurrence can now selectively be deleted. But not only that. New recurring appointments can now also be created for a day, workday or weekend day within a month. This way, your appointment planning will over again be much more flexible.
• Simple Holiday Integration
  The specific holidays for your region can now be simply integrated with just one click into your appointment calender. So you can consider these holidays even better for your planning concerning upcoming appointments.
• Optional Hiding
  If you desire, you can exceptionally hide the preview window within the calender archive. This way it is easier to concentrate on your appointment calender, and you do not have to work without being able to look at the preview windows of other archives.
• Automatic Warnings
  Two appointments are a thing of the past. Because as soon as two appointments clash each other within your planning, you will automatically receive a warning notice. As well if an appointment collides with the appointment planning from a different user.
• Individual View
  For a better use of the calendar David now offers you the possibility to customize the view of it as desired. You can for example simply change the color of your calendar by one click. Or you change the view of the time line from 30 minutes interval to 5 minutes.
• Perfect Transparency
  Entries from miscellaneous group calendars can still be displayed directly in your personalized calendar. The different calendars are now indicated in several colors. So you can see at first sight which appointment belongs to which calendar.
• Full-time Appointments
  Now you can deposit full time appointments directly in your calendar with one click. The appointments themselves are displayed at the upper margin in a special line. This will always let you know who out on business for the whole day.

Mobility

• Improved David InfoCenter Web
  The David InfoCenter presents itself with an improved design. The interface for the web access looks more similar to the David InfoCenter you working with every day. This way an intuitionally use of the David InfoCenter Web is possible every time.
• Mobile Group Calendars
  With the David InfoCenter Web you can also have a look at the appointments in the group calendars every time and everywhere. So you will always have a perfect overview about all upcoming appointments and meetings and you will not miss anything anymore.

 David InfoCenter for Windows Mobile

·          Improved Interface
The David InfoCenter for Windows Mobile offers you a special interface for the mobile operating system Windows Mobile (Pocket 2003). For example you can easily access all your data via your Smartphone as comfortable as never. The communication with the server takes place over an IP-connection, for example GPRS.

·         Comfortable Installation
You received the software of the David InfoCenter for Windows Mobile with the David start package or due to an update. The client can be installed within seconds without any complex configurations. The necessary settings are already made during the Installation.

·         Direct Online Notification
New messages will be shown directly in your Tobit InfoCenter for Windows Mobile Inbox. It is not necessary to refresh it manually. In addition to this you get a short notification via ring tone, vibration or symbol on your display. So you will never miss a message, even if you are out of office.

·         Comfortable Synchronisation of Addresses
Addresses and contacts can simply be synchronized between your Pocket PC and your David-Server. Due to this you always have all relevant contact data at hand. No matter where you are, if you are in the office, at a customer or on holiday.

·          Automatic SMS Upload
SMS messages received on your smartphone are simply uploaded to your David server at the touch of a button. That way you have really all your data at your disposal in a central place. Of course, you decide individually which SMS messages should be uploaded and which should not.

·          Cost-Effective Data Exchange
All data you exchange via your smartphone and the David InfoCenter for Windows Mobile are transmitted in a y compressed format. That way the costs for the transmission are automatically kept low. Even with intensive use.

·          Intelligent Answering Function
When you answer an eMail via the David InfoCenter for Windows Mobile, only the new characters are transmitted to the server and then again combined with the original message at the server.

·          Permanent Update
The auto-update ensures that you are working with the latest version of the David InfoCenter for Windows Mobile around the clock. If desired, the update can even be carried out directly online at the touch of a button.
