Fleet Components are an independent motor factor, selling specialised truck and trailer components, consumables and engineering services and solutions, with 6 depots located in the South West.

When they moved their out sourced IT support to Timewade in 2016, they described their then IT as unstable, slow, out of date and unreliable. Improvements to their infrastructure were much needed to meet the growing demands of the business.

Following our Take on Process and full IT Systems Review, our Technical Consultant identified and recommended some specific improvement areas which were then planned and budgeted into their IT Roadmap.
Timewade
During the first 12-18 months a number of improvement projects were approved to enhance performance across the business, these projects included:

Replacing aging servers with resilient hardware
Migrating their email system to Office 365
Installation of a Disaster recovery solution across the whole business
Installation of fail-over broadband connections to all branch offices
Re-cabling of the buildings to support future communications upgrades
Implementation of a new VoIP hosted telephone system, which has improved communications and performance and is more cost effective.
